Marriott International: Every One Has A Story by Matte Projects

Role: Brand strategy and core creative idea development

This collection category marketing approach from Marriott showcased the power of their independent hotel platform across three collection brands: The Luxury Collection, Autograph Collection Hotels and Tribute Portfolio.

My inspiration was the Gritti Palace in Venice, famous not because of its rooms or services but its stories.

Each one of the hotels within the three Collection brands has a vivid, rich and unique story, and together they contain some of the most storied hotels in the world.

Hero film

The centerpiece of the campaign is a 60-second anthemic spot, shot on 5 continents and rolled out across a variety of platforms including broadcast, cinema theatres and in flight entertainment.

The film visually counts down the unique stories found in each of the hotels.
